Familiar Faces and a Persona Prize Draw: Mighty Eve's Second Year at the Hertfordshire County Show, 23-24 May 2026

The Mighty Eve stand in the Made in Herts Marquee, Hertfordshire County Show, with the product range, customer persona cards on the table, and the Be the Hero of Your Own Story banner.

On 23-24 May 2026, Mighty Eve went back to the Hertfordshire County Show for a second year. Same faces on the gate, same faces at the neighbouring stalls, and a new reason to stop and talk.

Second year, new activity

We'd competed at the show the year before, and this time we returned as an exhibitor in the Made in Herts Marquee, a marketplace for Hertfordshire-based makers. Familiar faces from 2025 stopped by again, which made the two days feel less like a first introduction and more like catching up.

This year we also introduced our customer personas at the stand, Alex, Claire and Freya, Jade and Helen, and ran a small prize draw asking visitors which one they saw themselves in most. It turned out to be a good way to start a conversation, and one of those conversations kept coming back to a question worth answering properly here.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to wear a pad as well?
If you've bought period pants before, followed the washing instructions carefully, and still ended up with holes worn into the fabric and a leak you didn't expect, you're allowed to be wary of trying again. A letdown like that doesn't just cost you the money, it costs the trust that would let you leave the backup at home next time, even with a different pair.

You shouldn't have to take that on faith twice. Mighty Eve pants are built as standalone period protection woven into soft bamboo knickers. You just get dressed and go.
